| Description |
Assists volunteer fire departments to purchase equipment and make capital improvements. Fire department must be rated/certified, or actively working with DOI to obtain its rating/certification by application submission date (March 1). Fire department must be all volunteer, with the exception that the unit may have paid members to fill the equivalent of six full-time paid positions, department must serve a population of 12,000 or less. |
