The objectives of the State Planning Program are to: (1) develop long range transportation plans; (2) provide for a continuing, cooperative and comprehensive planning process; (3) develop and approve Metropolitan Transportation Improvement Program; and, (4) to ensure that the long range transportation plan confirms to state and federal regulations including the Clean Air Act. |
