| Description |
This program was designed by the General Assembly to assist needy North Carolina resident undergraduate students who choose to attend a private postsecondary institution in North Carolina. Each eligible school receives an allocation based on the number of North Carolina resident undergraduate students enrolled. The total allocation is divided among needy North Carolina students attending the institution. This program is administered by the North Carolina State Education Assistance Authority. |
| Grantee Eligibility |
Student must be a resident of North Carolina for tuition purposes, enrolled full- or part-time as an undergraduate or a returning student with a bachelors degree enrolled in a program to obtain licensure in teaching or nursing at an approved NC non-profit private college or university and have documented unmet financial need. The student must not be enrolled in a program of study the objective of which is the attainment of a degree in theology, divinity, or religious education or in any other program of study that is designed by the institution primarily for career preparation in a religious vocation. |
