| Description |
These grant funds will be provided to qualifying departments chosen during the selection process for purchasing Wildland Firefighting Personal Protective Equipment and handtools. Fire departments awarded grant funds will receive a maximum of $1,200.00 in matching funds to purchase Wildland PPE and handtools. The ability for fire departments to purchase Wildland PPE and handtools will provide for increased firefighter safety, more efficient suppression operations, and will increase the number of properly equipped firefighters in our state. |
