| Description |
In accordance with the National Flood Insurance Reform Act of 1994, Title V, Section 553 and 554, Public Law 103-325, funds are to be used for cost-effective measures that reduce or eliminate the long-term risk of flood damage to buildings, manufactured homes, and other insurable structures. This authorization provides cost-share cooperative agreements for three purposes: planning, projects, and technical assistance. The state, counties, and communities that participate in the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) and are in compliance with the NFIP floodplain management regulations may apply. |
