Governor's Highway Safety Program
||Assists units of government and non-profit organizations in the implementation of traffic safety programs directed towards the improvement of traffic crash problems in an effort to reduce traffic injuries and fatalities. The Governor's Highway Safety Program (GHSP) makes awards of traffic funds through annual competitive funding cycles. The GHSP accepts Concept Statements through the end of March each year. Program funds are limited for use in implementing traffic safety efforts. Local cost assumption is required. Funding is one year in length, with a maximum length of funding for a specific project of three years.
