| Description |
The mission of the Alzheimer's Support Program is to provide outreach, information and referral, training, and supportive services to individuals and families living with Alzheimer's disease and related disorders. Through dementia-specific education and community support, the program aims to strengthen family capacity to provide quality long term care in the home. In addition, consultation, technical assistance, and research support is provided to aging and adult services staff to enable them to develop, implement, and manage community-based programs and services that support dementia families and professionals throughout the state. |
