| Description |
The Program reviews and determines federal and state compliance of all nurse aide education programs offered in the state. The Program also administers the standardized Nurse Aide I Competency Evaluation program, the approval of Nurse Aide I educational programs, the administration of the Nurse Aide I, Medication Aide and Health Care Personnel Registries and the ivestigation of allegations of abuse and neglect against unlicensed healthcare workers and the listing of substantiated findings on the Health Care Personnel Registry for use by healthcare providers in their hiring process. |
