| Description |
Provide technical assistance to local communities applying for federal homeless funding; provide technical assistance and support to mayors and county executives engaged in creating local 10 Year Plans to End Homelessness; develop data on cost-benefits of permanent supported housing for homeless people; coordinate efforts by publicly funded systems to reduce post-discharge homelessness; encourage activities to improve employment opportunities for homeless people and homeless persons access to mainstream services and income supports; provide technical assistance to communities on how to conduct homeless point in time surveys; facilitate coordination activities and data-gathering among State agencies. |
