| Description |
The Lagoon Conversion Program (LCP) provides funding and technical assistance to assist in the conversion of animal waste management systems that serve swine farms and to establish centralized waste collection and treatment systems that serve innovative animal waste management systems. Cooperating producers have up to three years to install contracted best management practices. |
| Grantee Eligibility |
Eligible swine farms must have been in operation on or before Sept. 1, 2007 and currently employ anaerobic lagoons as the primary method of waste treatment. |
