| Description |
The purpose of this grant is to carry out innovative program(s) to provide services and activities allowed under any one or all of the programs authorized under WIA Title I; WIA Title II, i.e. the Adult Education and Family Literacy Act; or the Carol D. Perkins Vocational and Technical Edcuation Act of 1998. The funding will provide the following services and training initiatives: Assist the dislocated worker to identify skill levels and to chart paths for training in order to increase their skills; Assist in supporting the Adult Edcuation and Family Literacy Act programs by providing a innovative program designs to assist the Basic Skills programs, and partner with the North Carolina Community College Systems to develop and coordinate a system-wide Build Green initiatives. |
